Position: Clinical Research Coordinator III, Pediatric Infectious Diseases

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Research Coordinator III (CRC III) will perform project coordination activities using approved techniques. Under the umbrella of the Massachusetts Perinatal Neonatal Quality Improvement Network (PNQIN), the CRC III will maintain project databases, create and administer project surveys, performs administrative tasks for PNQIN projects, assist with budget monitoring, and help to organize all logistics of PNQIN statewide events (ex: webinars, summits, workshops). Prepares data reports in coordination with the data analyst, maintains the PNQIN website, and oversees the work of research assistants.
This is a senior level role that requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, working as a liaison with multiple statewide stakeholders collaborating with PNQIN. Must be able to work independently, identify problems, and develop sound solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
At least 5 years of Special Continuous Project Responsibilities—Quality assurance / quality improvement
Supervisory experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills required.
Must have ability to supervise others.
Must have ability to work independently and display initiative to introduce innovations to the team.
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload.
Ability to prepare and monitor budgets. Ability to priority task and set deadlines.
Knowledge of data management programs.
Ability to identify problems and develop sound solutions.
