I am a proactive and curious UX Researcher & Content Designer who excels in identifying key research questions, creative storytelling, and usability testing. I have a background in Psychology, Organizational Behavior, and academic research.
I have 5+ years experience working in SaaS environments, in industries like healthcare, productivity, and e-commerce. I have a track record of proactively finding a challenge, digging in deep to understand the issue, and taking creative approaches to showcase recommendations, ideas, and solutions.
I’ve successfully presented research findings to different audiences from clients to internal cross-functioning teams to senior leadership with research findings, to then helping implement impactful changes.
💻 Describe yourself in three words
Creative UX Enthusiast
🔎 Looking For: What jobs/industries are you interested in?
I'm interested in UX Research, Research/Product Operations, or Content Design jobs. I care more about the mission and leadership of a team more so than I do the industry. I want to work on a product with a strong "why" behind the "what" and whose values align with mine which include, integrity, autonomy, growth, equity, and creativity. I also believe I could thrive in a variety of roles. I’ve got many transferable skills and I’m a fast, dedicated learner. If the job responsibilities involve learning about, advocating for, and improving a user/customer/team's experience, I'm interested!

📣 Shoutouts: People who have inspired you and who supported you on your journey
Julie Christen: Julie is a now good friend of mine that I connected with on LinkedIn after she came across my Super Hirable post. We related quickly to each other having had similar life experiences and both looking for employment in UX Research. Julie has given me countless motivational speeches, valuable feedback on my professional materials, and even a contract UX role. The job search would be so much more devastating without Julie and I’m grateful for her support everyday! She is now thriving as Learning Experience Designer at Amazon.
Amanda Brooks: Amanda was my direct supervisor while I was working at NurseGrid. Amanda showed me the difference a strong leader can make in an employee’s life. She is a huge advocate for women in tech and I benefited from her advocacy in my everyday interactions with her. Amanda helped give me opportunities to grow and excel in a way that helped me grow and empower me to get more out of my career. She is currently working as the Vice President of Customer Success at PerfectServe.
Katie Leatherman: Katie is also a new friend of mine that connected with me after coming across my Visual Cover Letter template. Katie is one of the most engaging, authentic, friendly folks I’ve met on my job search journey. She has provided encouragement to me when I’ve felt low and inspired me with her strong work ethic and resilience. She is actively seeking Sales and Account Executive roles.
