Skills
- CISSP or equivalent security certification
- Physical security incident response and investigation
- Experience with digital forensics, compliance testing and security tools
- Knowledge of OSHA and Washington State SHARP policy and practice
- Visitor management and access control system administration
- Security policy development and security training creation/delivery
- Ability to manage security ticketing and produce KPI reports
- Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, People Ops and IT
Responsibilities
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and security issues for Seattle-area offices and manage on-call coverage
- Lead and coordinate response to security incidents, including containment, investigation, and resolution
- Manage visitor management systems (SIS) and site-specific access requirements for Tukwila
- Oversee Seattle-area safety and OSHA compliance programs
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments and support risk assessments for new programs and facilities
- Coordinate upgrades and improvements to office security and access control systems
- Draft, maintain, and improve security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with Legal, People Ops, Admin, IT and Program Managers to integrate security across functions
- Respond to customer security information requests and support program security and clearances
- Manage security tickets for Seattle and Tukwila offices and produce KPI reports for leadership
- Provide on-site security support for launch and space vehicle shipping operations as needed
Education
- Bachelor's degree in security, computer science, criminal justice or equivalent experience
- CISSP or equivalent security certification required
- Advanced degree or legal experience preferred
