Responsibilities
- Lead daily client management and serve as primary client contact for assigned accounts
- Develop and implement integrated communications and campaign strategies
- Write and edit press releases, op-eds, talking points, fact sheets and strategic memos
- Pitch and manage relationships with reporters and editors; secure media placements
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement, grassroots activities (in-person and digital) and paid advertising
- Manage internal teams, delegate tasks and mentor junior staff
- Contribute to business development and new client proposals
- Anticipate client needs and coordinate cross-team resources to deliver solutions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (communications, public policy, political science, journalism or related fields)
- Relevant professional experience may substitute for formal degree
