Responsibilities
- Drive feature development end-to-end: translate product requirements and designs into scoped plans, implement, test, and deploy production-ready features.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver intuitive, high-impact functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable frontend (React) and backend (Python) code with a focus on performance and readability.
- Refactor and reduce technical debt to improve long-term codebase health and scalability.
- Design and implement testing frameworks, monitoring, and metrics to ensure reliability.
- Optimize architecture and systems for scalability and performance as product demand grows.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving scientific domains and rapidly learn new technologies.
Education
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
