The Opportunity:

As a Warfighter Experience Strategist and Designer, you’ll put yourself in the user’s place and design the best way for them to engage with the application. We’re looking for someone creative like you to craft the ultimate user experience. You’ll work closely with the product manager on your team to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Working on an agile team, you’ll build skills in designing large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing. Your experience with interface design will help you advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements with the user at the center of your work.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience designing intuitive user interfaces, workflows, or data visualizations to support mission operations or decision-making

• 6+ years of experience translating complex data into clear, actionable insights

• Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools, including PowerBI, Qlik, or Tableau

• Experience creating wireframes or prototypes to communicate design concepts to users, stakeholders, or development teams

• Experience supporting user acceptance testing or user validation during product development

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in UI or UX development, Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience with UI or UX development, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with UI or UX development

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with basic graphic design principles for digital products

• Experience with SharePoint development or customization

• Experience applying CSS for styling web interfaces

• Experience building dashboards or user interfaces in intelligence or mission-driven environments

• Experience with enterprise intelligence platforms such as FADE or Bodhi

• TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
