Responsible for helping develop and execute integrated strategic communication plans that elevate the voice and visibility of AT&T’s senior executives. This individual works closely with C-suite leaders to craft compelling narratives that elevate the AT&T brand, support media engagement, prepare speeches and presentations, and ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external platforms.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and implement strategic communication plans for senior executives, aligned with company goals and brand positioning.
Write, edit, and oversee executive speeches, presentations, messaging, blogs and internal communications.
Partner with teams across Corporate Communications and the business to optimize storytelling and ensure message consistency.
Identify, coordinate and prepare executives for media interviews, town halls, earnings, and additional external and internal public speaking engagements.
Monitor media and industry trends to inform messaging and positioning with excellence.
Build relationships with key stakeholders, including media, industry influencers, and internal teams.
Demonstrate superior organizational skills, ability to respond in a timely manner to urgent press requests and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Â

Job Contribution: An experienced professional who creatively resolves complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.
Additional Skills
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, project management and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of digital and social media platforms.
Ability to be on call, which may require being available outside of normal working hours when needed.
Some experience with C-suite level executive support and media relations is preferred.

Our Lead Manager Communications & PR earns between $105,600 - $158,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Â
