Overview:
A leading public accounting firm in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a technical and client-focused Tax Manager to lead engagements and mentor a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven professional to provide strategic tax planning to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Lead client engagements and maintain strong, ongoing advisory relationships.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting for high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
- Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff and seniors.
- Research complex tax issues and present findings to clients and partners.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. A Master's degree in Taxation is a strong plus.
- Experiences: 6+ years of recent experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or in-charge role.
- Other:
- Active CPA license is required.
- Strong technical knowledge in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with tax research tools (e.g., CCH, RIA) and tax preparation software.
- A committed team player with a passion for client service.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (base salary)
- Benefits: A comprehensive benefits package is included (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off). Specific details will be provided during the interview process.
