- Strong research background in computer vision, deep learning, or robotics with demonstrated publications or equivalent experience
- Experience building and deploying ML systems for perception, world modeling, or autonomy
- Proficiency in software engineering with Python and C++ for model development and system integration
- Familiarity with simulation tooling, 3D data (LiDAR/radar/camera), and sensor fusion
- Ability to work effectively in small teams and communicate results to engineering and product teams
Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in autonomy, perception, world modeling, or simulation and translate results toward production systems
- Prototype, evaluate, and productionize machine learning models for perception and end-to-end autonomy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, systems, test) to integrate algorithms on real vehicles
- Publish and present research at top conferences (e.g., ICCV, CVPR) and contribute to the scientific community
- Develop and maintain simulation and evaluation pipelines to validate algorithms at scale
Education
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field preferred
- Master's degree with strong research record considered
- Undergraduate degree with extensive relevant industry research/engineering experience considered
