- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Strong familiarity with water treatment processes (surface and groundwater)
- Experience with wastewater collection and treatment processes (MLE, SBR, MBBR, MBR, extended aeration)
- Permitting and regulatory interpretation skills
- Construction management, estimating, and scope writing experience
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and Adobe
- Site civil engineering experience including SWPPP and erosion control
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering technical support for water/wastewater project teams
- Perform design calculations, prepare permit applications, and conduct inspections
- Interpret and apply state and federal water and wastewater regulations
- Supervise permit preparation, project operations, and produce technical reports
- Conduct field site visits to assess current and future construction constraints
- Identify and address project-related safety concerns
- Perform site civil engineering tasks including grading, erosion control, SWPPP, and materials design
- Develop specifications and plans for site civil work
- Coordinate with clients and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (required)
- Continuing education or coursework supporting PE licensure and professional development
