Responsibilities
- Lead development of 3D roadway design models using AutoCAD Civil3D per RIDOT standards.
- Oversee or prepare plan sets, cost estimates, and special provisions for roadway projects.
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and proposal technical approaches.
- Prepare technical reports, memoranda, proposals, and contracts.
- Serve as Technical Lead and coordinate among design disciplines and subconsultants.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and manage direct reports’ workloads and development.
- Maintain quality control through design and calculation reviews.
- Deliver oral presentations to clients, municipal boards, and professional groups.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or working towards licensure within one year.
