Skills
- Excellent C++ skills and strong software engineering principles
- Experience working in large codebases to solve complex problems
- Solid understanding of 3D math and graphics concepts
- Performance and memory optimization for real-time systems
- Experience shipping games or real-time visualization systems with low-level focus
- Strong spoken and written communication
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and reusable code
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to set priorities, define expectations, and translate them into deliverable scopes of work
- Identify technical risks and propose/implement mitigations in collaboration with broader engineering teams
- Diagnose and resolve defects to ensure client stability and reliability
- Analyze and optimize memory and performance across platforms from high-end desktops to mobile AR
- Design and implement robust, maintainable, and extensible low-level solutions for real-time visualization and simulation
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree is a plus but not required
