Skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- 8+ years software engineering experience with significant work in at least two of: C++, Golang, Java, Rust, Python
- Experience architecting and operating distributed cloud services at scale
- Proven track record setting up CI/CD, monitoring, logging and alerting for production services
- Experience as a tech lead and mentor for multi-engineer teams
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement geographically-distributed, cloud-deployed services for mission autonomy with high throughput and low-latency requirements
- Lead technical direction and serve as tech lead/mentor for engineering teams (5+ engineers), driving design reviews and execution
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, metrics, logging and alerting for live services
- Collaborate with Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering to integrate autonomy stacks (SLAM, controls, estimation, computer vision)
- Develop simulation infrastructure, developer platforms, and APIs to support testing and developer productivity
- Ensure robust interfaces and maintainability of C++ application binary interfaces and cross-language components
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent practical experience
- Strong engineering fundamentals from industry or academia
