- 8+ years with frontend languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, React)
- 8+ years with backend/language experience (Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go)
- Experience as a tech lead or tech lead manager for teams of at least 5 engineers
- Degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience building data-intensive or map-based frontend applications
- Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis
- Proven track record delivering functional outcomes to customers
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver mission planning software
- Partner with end users to translate needs into features while balancing UX and engineering constraints
- Own mission autonomy systems and customer-deployed services
- Write and review code to improve product quality and scalability
- Collaborate across Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test teams to implement complex features
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring system health
- Triage issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation
- Travel up to 25% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
