- 8+ years professional experience flying Group 1–4 UAS
- Part 61 pilot license and ability to maintain FAA certifications
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
- Strong oral and written communication skills and teamwork
- Proficient with standard computer tools (browsers, word processing) and mission planning software
- Electronics troubleshooting and basic repair capability
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to rapidly change roles in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in dynamic operational settings
Responsibilities
- Assist Airspace Manager with daily pre- and post-operation briefings and mission planning
- Prepare and brief missions and flight cards to meet engineering and test requirements
- Serve as Pilot in Command and act as safety pilot during flight operations
- Observe, direct, and coordinate flight and ground crews to maintain safe operations
- Coordinate and communicate across internal teams, senior leadership, and external customers
- Travel on short notice to support operational needs and test events
- Maintain required training and FAA or other certifications; ensure compliance with range and regulatory requirements
- Provide training and professional development to coworkers and document procedures and manuals for flight crew operations
- Participate in development, production acceptance, and qualification testing across product lines
Education
- FAA Part 61 pilot certification (required)
- Relevant flight certifications and FAA qualifications as required for operational roles
- Eligibility to obtain security clearance (U.S. citizenship typically required)
