Senior Software Engineer, Vision Based Navigation
Skills
- MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Robotics, or Computer Science (emphasis in Computer Vision) or BS in a related field
- 4+ years developing and benchmarking ML algorithms on large-scale datasets
- High proficiency in C++ development on Linux
- Experience deploying and optimizing models with TensorRT and ONNX
- Proficient in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with CI/CD and automated testing
- Domain experience in object detection/tracking/segmentation and/or visual odometry/SLAM/3D geometry
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Propose and prototype innovative CV/ML solutions for real-world robotics problems
- Develop and maintain core libraries and runtime applications in C++ and Python
- Integrate classical geometric computer vision methods with modern ML approaches
- Deploy and optimize models for edge/embedded inference (TensorRT, ONNX)
- Collaborate with ML, data infra, hardware, and product teams to define benchmarks and evaluate system performance
- Write and maintain automated CI tests and tooling to ensure reliable deployments
- Analyze and troubleshoot remotely deployed systems and participate in field testing and integration
Education
- MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Science, or closely related field (emphasis in Computer Vision)
- BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or related field
