- Designing and operating horizontally scaled cloud services and distributed systems
- Simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and tools for verification and validation
- Troubleshooting and remote operations of fielded software systems
- Ability to own a software service lifecycle including stakeholder engagement and roadmap management
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery and ownership of mission and vehicle software across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment
- Design and implement scalable on-board and off-board software, enabling autonomy, sensor fusion, and command-and-control
- Develop and maintain software services reusable across product lines, including backend, embedded, and simulation components
- Create and run hardware- and software-in-the-loop test fixtures, simulations, and full lifecycle test plans
- Troubleshoot and monitor remotely deployed systems and support manufacturing, integration, and field deployments
- Mentor and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and act as technical lead for complex subsystems
- Engage stakeholders to define requirements, roadmaps, and operational constraints; travel to co-locate with users up to 20% of the time
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
