Skills
- Advanced CAD proficiency for complex mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Strong experience with BOM management and engineering change control
- GD&T and tolerance analysis expertise
- Hands-on experience with PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred) as a SME
- Deep knowledge of standard manufacturing processes (machining, molding, joining, additive, wire harness, PCB fabrication)
- Ability to create production-ready drawings and documentation rapidly in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed Bills of Materials and Engineering Change Notice documentation, ensuring traceability from prototype to production.
- Produce dimensional drawings for mechanical, electrical, and optical components to industry standards.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and generate GD&T drawings.
- Serve as on-site Teamcenter subject-matter expert and guide stakeholders on PLM best practices and data models.
- Manage maintenance and design changes on existing products with thorough documentation.
- Establish product lifecycle frameworks, release workflows, and automation integrations driven by engineering releases.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related technical field (preferred)
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered
