Skills
- Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and computer vision (classical + deep learning)
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or equivalent)
- Experience across full ML lifecycle: data prep, training, validation, deployment
- Experience optimizing models for inference on constrained hardware (quantization, TensorRT, ONNX)
- Familiarity with production deployment on NVIDIA/embedded stacks
- Strong problem-solving, technical communication, and independent execution skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, train, validate, and deploy computer vision and image-enhancement ML models from prototype to production
- Optimize models for real-time and resource-constrained embedded environments (quantization, TensorRT, ONNX)
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineers to translate sensor capabilities into robust algorithms
- Build and maintain data pipelines for training, validation, and continuous improvement
- Drive ML lifecycle activities: experiment tracking, versioning, CI/CD, and model monitoring
- Conduct research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in object detection, enhancement, and sensor fusion
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in cross-functional technical reviews
Education
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (required)
- MS or PhD in related field (preferred)
