Skills
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Advanced Linux system configuration and troubleshooting.
- Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) and container orchestration experience.
- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (automation, testing, release).
- Networking fundamentals and network topology understanding.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
- Ability to work across software and hardware integration points.
- Clear, effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular CI/CD pipelines for software-to-hardware deployment across unclassified and classified environments.
- Develop and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes clusters to support SDANet and other Space programs.
- Configure and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure automation tooling.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and mission teams to identify bottlenecks and accelerate developer velocity.
- Integrate hardware-in-the-loop and test automation to validate payloads and edge deployments.
- Define and enforce networking, IAM, and security practices for operational deployments.
- Drive release engineering, observability, and cost management for cloud and edge fleets.
- Act as a product-minded technical lead, documenting requirements and coordinating cross-functional rollouts.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, Physics, or related field preferred.
- Equivalency from relevant industry experience also considered.
