Flight Test Operator - Ghost
Skills
- Experience operating RC, RPIC, or Pilot-operator roles with fixed wing commercial or defense aircraft (Group 1-3).
- Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Part 107 certificate and FAA Part 61 ground school completion.
- Knowledge of flight controllers and autopilot logic.
- Understanding of National Airspace regulations and operating restrictions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work autonomously and handle varied responsibilities.
- Small UAS maintenance experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with test operations, system checkouts, and flight execution of Ghost Systems.
- Build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft for flight.
- Collaborate with Test Engineers on operational tasks to support engineering and test profiles.
- Assist with product installations at test sites as needed.
- Support site maintenance, inventory management, and equipment upkeep.
- Travel between test sites to fulfill testing requirements.
- Maintain eligibility for U.S. security clearance.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, software, or mechanical engineering preferred.
