Electrical Engineering Technician, Air Vehicles
Skills
- 4+ years electronics testing experience in R&D
- Ability to read electrical schematics and system diagrams
- Familiarity with product development life cycle, reliability, and compliance testing
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, function generators and data acquisition
- Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Set up, execute, and analyze test experiments per procedures and record results
- Build and maintain test harnesses, racks, and environmental setups
- Improve and update test automation, consistency, and coverage per engineering direction
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic assemblies to the component level
- Maintain and calibrate electrical and mechanical test equipment
- Create assembly instructions, bills of materials, test plans, and user manuals
- Operate a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures
- Travel to external test sites and laboratories as required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant technical coursework or on-the-job training preferred
- Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics or related field is beneficial (preferred, not required)
