Amplify is seeking a Director of Special Projects, Content to lead initiatives in K–12 literacy curriculum, focusing on Hispanic and bilingual education while enhancing operational efficiency. This Fixed-Term role will manage a bilingual team and ensure alignment with educational standards across both English and Spanish projects.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include leading bilingual curriculum development, managing a small team, overseeing project planning, collaborating with stakeholders, and making strategic decisions regarding content priorities.
Skills: The ideal candidate should have 5+ years in content development in education, fluency in both English and Spanish, strong leadership and organizational skills, and experience with project management and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in education or related field is required, while a Master's degree and teaching experience in bilingual classrooms are preferred qualifications.
Location: This position is fully remote, based in the United States.
Compensation: $120000 - $150000 / Annually

Job Description Summary:
The Director of Special Projects, Content will report directly to the Executive Director, Literacy Curriculum, Elementary, and will play a critical role in leading and managing initiatives that align with Amplify’s elementary core literacy products in both English and Spanish. The Director of Special Projects will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing projects that enhance product offerings, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic goals. They will partner closely with product and project management in planning these projects. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, people management experience, a deep understanding of educational curricula, and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
