Senior Systems Analyst
The Senior Systems Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems to solve complex business problems. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and ensure system integrity.
The ideal candidate will work closely with IT teams to ensure that system developments are aligned with business objectives and industry best practices. Responsibilities include:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and document functional requirements.
- System Design: Analyze and design new systems or enhancements to existing systems to meet business needs.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems meet specified requirements and function correctly.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data flows and databases to support data integrity and accuracy.
- Documentation: Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.
- Technical Support: Provide support and troubleshooting for system issues, working with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
- Project Management: Lead projects through the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
- Five (5) years of professional experience in relation to implementation of business and technical requirements; analyzing; planning and development; application testing; and database management support.
- Experience in DoDAF and enterprise architecture tools such as IBM’s System Architect.
- This position is required to be designated as IAT III level with a T3.
