Visual Manager - Michigan Avenue

ALO is an athleisure brand focused on mindful movement and community; the Visual Manager at the Michigan Avenue store will lead in-store visual strategy, product presentation, and merchandising operations to ensure the store is customer-ready at all times. This role combines visual leadership, data-driven product planning, people development, and hands-on execution across the sales floor and back of house.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support execution of operational and visual processes across the store
  • Champion and maintain high visual standards on the sales floor using business performance data
  • Plan and execute product presentation, restock, destock, and visual merchandising changes
  • Manage visual-related payroll and adapt visual support to business needs
  • Own visual direction from planning through execution to meet budget and timeline expectations
  • Use reporting tools with management to identify merchandising and inventory opportunities
  • Partner with General/Store Manager on budgeting, reporting, and business planning
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Visual team; drive accountability and succession planning
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to meet visual and sales floor KPIs and deliverables
  • Maintain a clean, safe, inviting store environment and perform physical merchandising tasks

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, retail or related field (preferred)
