Position Overview:

The Practice Manager partners with the Co-CEOs to oversee all aspects of CPC’s operations, including strategic development, financial performance, clinical efficiency, and patient experience. This role leads both site-level operations and centralized services such as revenue cycle, payer enrollment, patient access, and real estate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall operations, quality, and financial performance across CPC locations
  • Set annual budgets and strategic/operational plans
  • Manage centralized services (e.g., billing, enrollment, compensation)
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare laws and regulations
  • Provide regulatory training and guidance to clinical and non-clinical teams
  • Oversee effective use of EMR and healthcare software in collaboration with IT
  • Negotiate contracts including payer agreements, insurance, and provider employment
  • Drive a positive, inclusive patient experience using feedback and engagement metrics
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical leaders to improve daily operations
  • Oversee real estate management, growth planning, and facility logistics
  • Mentor and support front-line managers and department leads
  • Identify trends in medical group operations and lead transition to value-based care
     

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field (required)
  • Master’s degree in a related field (preferred)
  • 10+ years in medical group or healthcare leadership (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-practice or practice management roles (required)
     

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, EMR systems, and revenue cycle processes
     

Work Environment:

  • Location: DMV area
  • Regular interaction across clinical and administrative departments
  • Occasional travel to satellite locations
     

Medical Clearance Required:

All employees must meet CPC’s medical clearance requirements, which may include evidence of Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal, and Tuberculosis screening unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
