Senior DevOps Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years experience in DevOps or similar roles
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure (GCP a plus)
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
- Scripting/automation with Python or similar languages
- Configuration management experience (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Knowledge of security and compliance for federal systems
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, and optionally GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to automate and optimize development workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
