Skills
- 5+ years designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines (preferably with Airflow).
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing and tuning complex queries.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (preferably Python).
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and building business tables/marts.
- Familiarity with modern data warehouses and performance tuning.
- Ability to translate stakeholder needs into reliable data solutions and clear documentation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, product, growth, sales, and marketing stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data marts that enable reporting and analysis.
- Create and evolve foundational business tables to simplify analytics across teams.
- Improve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of the data warehouse.
- Define and enforce patterns and best practices across the data stack for consistent, accurate data artifacts.
- Instrument alerting and monitoring for pipeline health and data quality.
- Communicate insights and pipeline status clearly using documentation, graphs, and visualizations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree preferred but not required.
