Skills
- Product and application security expertise
- Hands-on secure coding experience and ability to ship production code
- Experience with AI/LLM product security and threat modeling for LLMs
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Familiarity with Linux and cloud platforms (AWS or comparable)
- Experience performing security reviews, vulnerability triage, and remediation tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication to partner with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Partner with product teams to review designs, architecture, and code for security risks
- Lead and implement organization-wide application and product security programs
- Build and ship frameworks and tools that make secure engineering practices easier for product teams
- Triage findings from external penetration tests and drive remediation to completion
- Research emerging threats and best practices, particularly around AI and LLM safety, and share learnings across Engineering
- Work with advisors and third-party vendors on penetration tests, security reports, and compliance projects
- Contribute to product security roadmaps, metrics, and long-term strategic planning
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent experience preferred
- Relevant security certifications or coursework are a plus (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, SANS)
