This right candidate is passionate about responsible data use and driving organizational awareness of privacy best practices and benefits. Key responsibilities in this role include executing Airbnb’s privacy corporate engagement strategy, ensuring alignment with legal requirements (i.e., DSA, AI Act, GDPR and emerging AI laws) and technological advances such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. The Senior Privacy Manager collaborates across teams to develop and deliver privacy and AI related curriculum, empowering employees with knowledge they need to maintain compliance and build privacy minded products. This role leads Airbnb’s Privacy Champions program, fostering engagement and advocacy throughout the organization. Through strategic communication, education and stakeholder collaboration, this role promotes a strong culture of privacy, ensuring awareness and adherence to Airbnb values, policies, regulations and industry best practices.
