Technology Analyst Program (TAP) Overview
TAP is a leading 24-month technology rotation program that recruits high potential individuals from top universities. Throughout the program, TAP participants will develop a breadth and depth of IT skills and capabilities required to excel in the workforce through three 8-month rotations. TAP participants graduate from the program into a full-time role in Architecture, Data and Digital, Cybersecurity, Software and Systems Engineering, Technology Business and Project Management, or Technology Risk and Controls. Here are some of the areas Technology Analyst Program analysts immerse in during the rotation.
Architecture: Design enterprise or domain architecture roadmap and requirements in alignment to technology strategy and standards
Business Partnership: Align the business and technology strategy to deliver business priorities. Gather and analyze technical requirements and partner cross IT teams to implement solutions.
Data: Empower business partners to turn information into action by gathering, analyzing, and modeling data, enabling smarter decision making.
Digital: Develop, test and roll out solutions to engage and improve user experience across digital channels including web, mobile, and social.
Cybersecurity: Deliver systems and application solutions that strengthen and safeguard AIG’s assets and stakeholders from cybersecurity threats.
Engineering: Be part of a software or systems engineering team. Build, code and automate applications through a collaborative and agile environment, or design and implement a variety of systems in network, storage, public and private cloud to provide seamless, scalable infrastructure for our applications.
Technology Business and Project Management: Drive project and program execution, support the strategic operations of the Program Management Office and Business Management Office.
Technology Risk and Controls: Manage risk in technology service delivery, including assessing, reviewing, and implementing solutions aligned to regulatory requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about the insurance industry.
We also look for a diverse background of experience, culture and thought. Successful candidates typically have a global perspective and a team-oriented track record.
Required
Bachelor’s degree, or candidate for Bachelor’s degree to be received no later than June 2026 in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity (unofficial transcript required upon application).
Program Start Date
The Early Career Analyst program will start on July 27, 2026.
