Data Analyst Program (DOAP) Overview
DOAP is a leading 24-month data and analytics rotation program that recruits high potential individuals from top universities. Throughout the program, DOAP participants will develop a breadth and depth of skills and capabilities through three 8-month rotations, centered around Technical Foundations, Data Management and Governance, and Business Insights. DOAP participants will graduate from the program into a full-time role within the Data Office. DOAP participants can immerse in during the rotation.
Business Data Analysis: Work directly with business partners to understand business needs, gather, manipulate, and analyze data to deliver digestible insights that drive business decisions.
Business Intelligence Delivery: Develop insightful and fit-for-purpose reporting and visualizations, leveraging a broad spectrum of business intelligence and analytics tools.
Data Architecture: Participate in and support the design and delivery, including analysis, data profiling, data model design, ontology design of reference and data architecture components that preserve and enhance the value and utility of company data.
Data Engineering: Leverage modern, cloud-based technologies to develop data pipelines that collect, manage, and transform raw data into usable information for business analysis, data science and other analytic use cases. With adherence to all code/data quality, security, and compliance standards.
Data Management and Governance: Support the oversight and alignment of roles, responsibilities, processes, policies, standards and metrics that ensure the effective use of information throughout its entire lifecycle, from creation to disposition.
Data Science & AI: Leverage data to drive strategic decisions and create cutting-edge AI solutions, solving complex problems and delivering advanced analytics and AI solutions using combinations of ML and GenAI.
What you’ll need to succeed
AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about learning more about the insurance industry.
We also look for a diverse background of experience, culture and thought. Successful candidates typically have a global perspective and a team-oriented track record.
Required
Candidate for Bachelor's degree to be received no later than June 2026 (unofficial transcript required upon application) in a STEM major or with STEM coursework learned in associated majors. Examples of considered majors include, but are not limited to, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Library Science, Geography, or Psychology.
Program Start Date
The Early Career Analyst program will start on July 27, 2026.

Early Career Analyst positions are in-person opportunities and are available in Atlanta, GA. When we work in the office, we experience greater connections with opportunities to collaborate, innovate and learn together.
