The Role
We’re looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you’ll design and maintain data systems that power operations across the enterprise. You’ll be hands-on with SQL Server, ETL development, and Power BI, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, accurate, and accessible data.

Key Responsibilities
Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases for performance and reliability.
Develop ETL pipelines (C# or Python) to integrate data from multiple sources (flat files, JSON, XML, APIs, EDI, databases).
Build and support Power BI dashboards for insights in finance, inventory, forecasting, and more.
Manage database administration tasks including indexing, backups, query tuning, and security.
Collaborate with IT, developers, and business teams to streamline workflows and automation.
Promote data quality, consistency, and accessibility across systems and departments.
Act as a technical mentor and data expert within the IT team.
Support ERP system management (Microsoft Dynamics GP) to ensure accurate data recording.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.
Strong skills in C# or Python for data processing and automation.
Experience integrating data from multiple formats (flat files, JSON, XML, APIs, etc.).
Solid knowledge of data modeling and relational design.
Proficiency with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred).
Strong English communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Bonus Points
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Automate, SharePoint, or Teams.
Exposure to AI/ML or predictive analytics.
Background in foodservice, logistics, or inventory-heavy industries.
