Skills
- Proven leadership and team management across multiple technical teams

- Cloud cost management and optimization experience (FinOps-minded)

Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks, systems, and tools that create ownership and accountability for infrastructure costs across engineering teams
- Collaborate with Finance and Engineering leadership to define financial targets and operationalize cost controls
- Lead technical decisions, roadmaps, and delivery of multi-project initiatives within the Infrastructure organization
- Drive business and engineering metrics focused on cost, reliability, security, and developer productivity
- Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performance, inclusive engineering team with empathy and clear career development paths
- Coordinate with tech leads, program managers, and product managers on architecture, planning, and cross-functional delivery
- Partner across the organization and with external vendors to execute cost-saving and efficiency programs
- Represent Affirm in hiring, recruitment, and technical advocacy, including contributing to Open Source efforts
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
