AECOM is seeking a Nuclear Senior Manager to head our growing US Nuclear engineering team. AECOM's broad technical capabilities, global footprint and experience in executing large scale projects uniquely position us to lead in traditional and advanced nuclear technologies. This includes being a part of the first-of-a-kind program with AECOM partners advancing the innovative stellarator technology to the world.
For this role, AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States.
This position will provide project technical leadership and team development on a variety of energy projects and programs across various markets and client types. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, self-directed and decisive individual with a strong technical competence and competence to develop and deliver innovative energy projects.

AECOM’s Energy practice provides a wide range of services from consulting and engineering design to energy engineering, energy procurement and construction (EPC) for power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy clients. Our understanding of the big picture – and the interconnection between generation, distribution, storage, and the demand side of the meter – allows us to deliver holistic strategies that improve and modernize next generation energy infrastructure. We connect knowledge and experience across our global framework to bring together a unique combination of engineers, planners, scientists, and project managers who advance cleaner, secure, and more sustainable energy solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from ABET accredited college or university
· A minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering design experience within power generation facilities
· A minimum of two years of leadership experience
· Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Preferred Qualifications:
· 5+ years experience in team supervision
· 7+ years as discipline technical lead on power generation engineering design projects
· Physical design experience of power generation facilities
· Demonstrated experience in participating complex, multi-discipline programs/projects and teams
· Passion in developing talented technical teams
· Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish.
· Experience workshare with high value engineering centers
· Field construction and commissioning experience
· Successful experience working in remote and multi-discipline teams
· Expert familiarity with industry codes and standards
· Power generation systems modeling experience
· Experience working in collaborative 3D model environments (e.g. Navisworks) and laser scan data
· Active participation in industry or code committees
