Branch Manager - The Woodlands
We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to manage our Woodlands branch. As Branch Manager, you’ll lead a team of 4–8 employees, driving performance, member satisfaction, and operational excellence. You’ll champion a member-first culture, foster professional growth, and serve as a visible ambassador in the community to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
👥 Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on accountability and continuous improvement
- Facilitate weekly meetings and daily huddles to align goals and strengthen communication
- Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives
- Identify and mentor high-potential employees to build leadership capacity
💼 Member Experience & Sales Culture
- Promote a member-centric, service-driven environment with a strong financial guidance mindset
- Set clear performance expectations and coach staff to exceed service and production goals
- Resolve escalated member concerns promptly and professionally
⚙️ Operations & Compliance
- Manage daily branch operations including lending, teller services, and member support
- Ensure full compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies
- Maintain audit readiness, cash control, and operational efficiency
- Leverage branch technologies to enhance service delivery
📈 Strategic Growth & Community Engagement
- Align branch performance with organizational goals to drive membership growth
- Represent the credit union in community outreach and member events
- Build relationships with Select Employer Groups (SEGs) and local organizations
🏢 Facility Oversight
- Ensure a clean, safe, and professional branch environment
- Coordinate facility maintenance and address issues proactively
- Proven leadership experience in financial services or retail banking
- Strong coaching, communication, and performance management skills
- Deep understanding of branch operations, compliance, and member service
- Ability to engage with the community and promote brand visibility
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
