JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Graphic Designer will support the Marketing team by creating visually compelling assets for print and digital platforms. This role complements the lead Graphic Designer position by focusing on specialized design tasks and creative enhancements that elevate Zeeco’s brand presence. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills, proficiency in industry-standard design tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
JOB DUTIES:
- Design and develop graphics for print and digital marketing materials, including brochures, logos, flyers, social media assets, and tradeshow collateral.
- Create simple static and motion graphics/animations for web banners, presentations, and social media.
- Collaborate with the lead Graphic Designer and marketing team to maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
- Develop custom illustrations and unique visual elements to enhance brand storytelling.
- Create branded templates for global Marketing, social media, and communications teams.
- Produce data visualizations and infographics for reports and presentations.
- Perform advanced photo editing and retouching for marketing and promotional use.
- Organize and maintain digital assets within Zeeco’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and AI-assisted design tools to bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Support additional marketing and branding initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience in a marketing or advertising context.
- Strong portfolio with examples of projects related to the Job Duties.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express, Camera Raw).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Proficiency in the macOS.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Advanced photo editing and retouching skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred:
- A degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation tools (Adobe After Effects or Animate).
- Familiarity with Canva.
- Illustration skills for custom artwork.
- Knowledge of DAM systems and asset organization best practices.
- Awareness of AI-assisted design tools and emerging digital trends.
- Basic knowledge of photography.
