Yield.xyz is the ultimate yield infrastructure for Web3 — every yield, every network, one API.
We unify staking, restaking, stablecoin, and DeFi yield across blockchains into a single platform that gives developers seamless access to diversified yield opportunities with full data transparency, frictionless monetization, and zero operational complexity. Pure plug-and-play.
Our infrastructure powers some of the biggest names in Web3 and fintech, including Ledger, Deblock, and 50+ leading wallets and platforms. And we’re just getting started.
DevOps is one of the most critical, upstream functions in our engineering organization. This role is a linchpin for our velocity, reliability, and ability to scale; we’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, takes ownership of infrastructure end-to-end, and helps shape operational excellence across the company.
We’re hiring an Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to own, operate, and evolve the core infrastructure that powers Yield.xyz. This role spans infrastructure as code, cloud environment management, deployments, automation, monitoring, operational excellence, and close collaboration with backend, product, and security teams.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining AWS and Kubernetes environments, upgrading and migrating infrastructure, improving CI/CD pipelines, enforcing robust environment protections, and ensuring that staging and production environments remain secure, reproducible, and stable.
You’ll also play a key part in operational readiness: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and improving our dashboards, playbooks, and on-call posture.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you’ll directly influence engineering and product velocity. You’ll work in a fast-moving organization where priorities shift quickly and clarity, documentation, and proactive communication are essential.
Own and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform / Terragrunt
Manage AWS environments (ECS, EKS, SSM, networking, IAM), including upgrades, migrations, and resource decommissioning
Improve and operate CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), enforcing secure release processes and environment protections
Manage internal operational security tooling such as MDM and EDR, ensuring devices and access remain compliant and secure
Assist with operational parts of security and compliance (access reviews, audit evidence, environment controls)
Implement strict developer lifecycle controls: protected branches, release approvals, deploy gates, and environment separation
Manage containerized environments (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes), including scaling, observability, and reliability
Automate repetitive tasks, provisioning, and operational workflows
Maintain and improve staging vs. production environments, ensuring isolation, reliability, and security best practices
Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response, resolution, and post-mortem improvements
Build and improve monitoring and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch, Better Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools
Collaborate with backend, security, and product teams to integrate DevOps work into sprint cycles and engineering processes
Document infrastructure changes, operational procedures, runbooks, and architecture updates
Proactively identify and address infrastructure bottlenecks, reliability risks, or operational inefficiencies
Support day-to-day DevOps requests (debugging environments, logs, access issues, infra upgrades, etc.)
Must-Haves
4+ years experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering roles
Strong proficiency with Terraform / Terragrunt and infrastructure-as-code workflows
Deep experience operating AWS environments (ECS, EC2, SSM, IAM, networking)
Strong background with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and Docker
Hands-on CI/CD experience, ideally GitHub Actions, with secure deployment practices
Experience building monitoring and observability systems (CloudWatch, BetterStack, Prometheus, Grafana)
Familiarity with secrets management, environment protection, and incident management processes
Experience migrating or decommissioning cloud infrastructure
Strong communication and documentation skills, especially in async, distributed teams
Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments with shifting priorities
High ownership mentality and willingness to jump in wherever needed
Strong Advantages
Experience working in Web3, fintech, or highly regulated environments
Prior on-call experience with mature incident response practices
Experience supporting security compliance programs such as SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 (policy adherence, evidence collection, audit readiness)
Exposure to zero-trust networking, VPN solutions, or AWS SSM Session Manager
Experience building dashboards, SLAs, or SLO-driven monitoring systems
Background integrating DevOps into Agile/Scrum or sprint planning cycles
Contributions to DevOps or infrastructure open-source projects
Own the infrastructure powering mission-critical Web3 financial systems
High autonomy and direct influence on engineering velocity and product delivery
Collaborate closely with backend, security, and product teams in a fast-moving, high-trust organization
Work on cutting-edge cloud infrastructure used by major fintech and crypto platforms
Build in a startup environment with real ownership, where DevOps is a first-class function
Fully remote team spanning multiple continents, with Americas timezones preferred
Opportunity to shape processes, tools, and best practices as we scale
