Infrastructure Engineer – Data Platform & Annotation Tools
1. Data Platform and Annotation Tool Development
Design and build internal data tools, including labeling and annotation platforms.
Develop data ingestion pipelines and early product prototypes that can scale as needs grow.
Drive 0 to 1 development with rapid iteration and tight feedback loops.
2. Infrastructure and Compliance
Establish best practices for scalable infrastructure as the engineering team grows.
Ensure data governance and regulatory compliance for enterprise customers, including SOC 2 and GDPR.
Build workflows that support secure data collection, storage, and auditability.
3. Cross Functional and Global Collaboration
Work closely with research, operations, and China based engineering teams to ship internal tools quickly.
Coordinate across U.S. and China teams to align product direction, technical decisions, and cultural expectations.
Drive fast iteration on GUI tools and internal data systems.
4. Technical Leadership
Operate with strong engineering instincts in an early stage environment with limited structure.
Shape internal standards, tooling, and infrastructure foundations for the company.
Qualifications
Required
Experience building or scaling internal data platforms or annotation tools at AI or data centric companies.
Familiarity with enterprise data regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to work cross functionally and internationally, ideally with experience partnering with China based teams.
Bonus
Passion for robotics and emerging AI systems.
Comfort working in a fast pace, exploratory environment.
Experience with robotic learning systems or large generative models.
