- California P.E. registration or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months
- 10+ years of experience in planning, design, or construction of water, wastewater, or recycled water facilities
- Proven project delivery and client relationship management
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills for proposals, reports, and contract documents
- Experience with alternatives analysis, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to develop sustainable, cost-effective, and operator-friendly solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver water and wastewater planning, design, and program management for medium- to large-scale projects
- Manage client service, strengthen existing client relationships, and identify new business opportunities
- Lead proposal pursuits, prepare proposals, and support interview/presentation efforts
- Facilitate project workshops, alternatives analyses, and decision-making processes
- Mentor and develop entry-level and mid-level staff
- Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and quality control
- Prepare high-quality technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Travel as needed throughout CA, WA, and OR for projects and client meetings
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
- Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering preferred
- P.E. registration in California or eligibility for reciprocity
