Software Engineer – Full Stack (Contract)
Skills
- Expert frontend skills with JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
- Backend proficiency with Python and frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/Fargate, Lambda).
- API design and microservices development experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) or willingness to learn.
- Familiarity building enterprise-grade, production web applications.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the frontend framework and reusable component library using React/Next.js.
- Implement data-driven UX and GenAI-enabled interfaces to surface insights and storytelling.
- Design and build backend services and APIs (microservices) using Python (FastAPI/Flask).
- Architect and implement scalable infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, DynamoDB).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers, scientists, bioengineers) to deliver production-quality features.
- Ensure application reliability, security, and scalability for enterprise customers and compliance workflows.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Continued learning or certifications in cloud technologies or relevant frameworks are a plus.
