[WEBTOON] Freelance Script Writer (Freelance/Independent Contract)

We are seeking a talented Script Writer to work on a freelance basis. Writers will work closely with the WEBTOON Producer team, crafting scripts for original and adapted series. The ideal candidate will have a background in vertical scroll comics, though we are interested in creative professionals across a variety of disciplines, including but not limited to television, animation, games, and fine art.

We are actively sourcing writers who are interested in the Romance and Thriller genres.

• Write WEBTOON scripts, and make revisions based on feedback from producer team
• Adapt books and other materials to WEBTOON scripts, and edit said scripts for production
• Work closely with producers to ensure story is translated effectively to comic format

• A student or graduate in/of an accredited program, or comparable work experience
• A strong portfolio showcasing your work. Applications without portfolios or samples attached will not be considered.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Familiarity with WEBTOON or vertical scroll comics formats is highly desirable.
• Has a love for comics and is eager to learn
• Has a strong interest in and knowledge of popular culture and current trends
