Staff Accountant, International

Vuori is looking for an International Staff Accountant to join our growing International Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, along with general knowledge of the fundamentals associated with different functional areas of intercompany accounting and foreign currency transactions. The role requires an enthusiastic, detail-oriented team player that feels comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

What you'll get to do:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. 
• Prepare journal entries for various financial transactions including intercompany and foreign exchange transactions. 
• Reconcile intercompany balances across multiple legal entities to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. 
• Assess and analyzes gain or loss on foreign currency transactions. 
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.  
• Provide detailed support and documentation for external audits. 
• Efficiently create accounting documents, reports, and reconciliations using spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software in a timely fashion.  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards. 
• Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and provide support as needed. 
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounting function. 

Who you are: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles. 
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of the fundamentals associated with different functional areas of accounting. 
• Knowledge of international accounting concepts, including intercompany transactions and foreign currency considerations, is preferred. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with Microsoft d365 or similar ERP systems is a plus). 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively within established timeframes in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to convey accounting concepts to non-accounting business partners. 
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 per year - $89,000 per year.
