Responsibilities
- Pitch, research, report, and script original video stories
- Shoot and edit videos in-studio and on location
- Manage all aspects of video production from start to finish ensuring timely delivery
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organizational skills
- Occasionally appear on camera to add personal voice and personality
- Collaborate closely with Vox newsroom journalists to translate journalism into video content
- Experiment with and develop new storytelling techniques and video formats
- Ensure compliance with journalistic and legal standards
Education
- Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in journalism, communications, film, or related fields
