UI/UX Design Analyst - U.S. Citizenship Required
Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and similar design tools.
- Expertise in user research methods, personas, user flows, affinity mapping, and usability testing.
- Prototyping skills and experience building interactive wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Front-end knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and experience with frameworks like React or Angular.
- Deep understanding of WCAG and Section 508 accessibility requirements and implementation.
- Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with DevSecOps principles.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct design sprints, user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, high-fidelity prototypes, and visual assets for web-based and client-server applications.
- Ensure UI designs meet WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards and federal requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and analysts to translate requirements into intuitive workflows and interfaces.
- Iterate prototypes based on user testing and stakeholder feedback to improve usability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Define short- and long-term UI/UX vision and maintain design consistency across products.
- Present design concepts and rationale to clients and internal teams; document design decisions and hand off assets to development.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field (required).
- Relevant certifications in UI/UX, usability, or HCI are preferred (e.g., CUA, HCI certificate).
