Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve embedded and server-side software for Verkada devices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, product, and senior engineering teams to build and ship features
- Develop embedded firmware, drivers, and secure OS components in C, C++, Go, and Python
- Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across projects in an agile environment
- Experiment with development boards and integrate new technologies critical to product development
- Contribute regularly to the codebase to push OTA feature updates and verify firmware
- Help define specifications for future products alongside senior engineers
Education
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Expected graduation by June 2027
