VCA Montgomery Road Animal Hospital is hiring a full time Experienced Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We are a 6-doctor full service, AAHA accredited veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Westfield, MA. We are open Monday thru Friday from 8 am – 8 pm, and Saturdays, 8am – 1pm, to serve the people and pets in our community.

Compensation: $19 - $25 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status. Ranges are set for VA - CVT
Potential Schedule: Must include a Saturday rotation

What You'll Do
Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
Veterinary Technician Duties Include
- Physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery
- Procedural anesthesia and monitoring
- IV fluid administration and CRI calculations
- Hands Free Radiology and diagnostic imaging
- Client communications and discharge
- Vaccine and chronic injection visits
