Job Details:
The Epic Interface Analyst II is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of conversion and real-time interfaces between Epic Systems and other healthcare applications, specifically with Epic Bridges. Reporting to the Manager of Integrations, this role collaborates closely with clinical staff, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless data integration and workflow optimization. Key responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, designing interface solutions, building interfaces, and troubleshooting issues.
Interface Development and Maintenance
Designs and develops HL7 real-time and interfaces between Epic and other systems.
Tests and validates interface functionality.
Troubleshoots and resolves interface-related issues.
Business Requirements Analysis
Gathers and documents business requirements.
Translates requirements into technical specifications.
Collaborates with stakeholders to refine requirements.
System Upgrades and Validation
Assists with software upgrades and patches.
Conducts end-to-end testing of interfaces.
Develops and executes test plans.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 years of experience developing interfaces.
2 years of experience developing interfaces for an Epic environment.
2 years of experience with Epic Bridges.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
6 years of relevant experience in interface development and healthcare IT.
ITIL Foundation certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Required: Epic certification in Interface Development.
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
$90,000 + depending on qualifications
