GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the general direction of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Program Manager I is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of NIH or other externally funded, large scale projects. The Research Program Manager will collaborate with investigators, consultants, project directors, and contract officers at the university, commonwealth, and national levels.
The Research Program Manager will support addiction and behavioral health training and technical assistance (TTA) efforts across the New England region through the Opioid Response Network (ORN) and Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC). Reporting to the ATTC Regional Director and Project Director, the Research Program Manager will manage day-to-day operations of a multi-year, federally funded TA grant within a national network. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating regional staff, TA requests and special projects, organizing training and educational activities, mobilizing staff and consultants, and ensuring timely, effective delivery of evidence-based interventions that address regional substance use and behavioral health priorities and emergent needs.
