UnityPoint Health – Des Moines provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Des Moines and Central Iowa. • No inpatient duties/no call
• Fully integrated system with clinics and Hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• Practice at all Des Moines locations: Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, and Methodist West Emergency Departments
• Part-Time Position: 60 hours a month
• Work 3 out of 4 weekends per month, with 2 shifts per weekend
• Shift duration: 12 hours & 9 hours
• Variety of shifts, hours vary by location
• No overnights
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work as a team member
• Experience strongly preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
